M1 Establishes a REIT portfolio follow it on "Tickerspy"

As you have all heard, when it comes to real estate a great deal of your "potential" success comes from...LOCATION..LOCATION...LOCATION. You also know that M1 was established and has the majority of its properties in Joplin, MO. Recently (Aug 1, 2010), we diversified our market by purchasing two mult-unit properties in Macomb, IL. But, this was not our first move at diversifing our portfolio. Last year on October 31st we established a portfolio of REITS within a TDAmeritrade account. I have selected REITS that not only divesify our holdings geographically but also within the different categories of real estate investments. We now have positions in retail, industrial, office, special interests, mortgages and our current categories of multi-family and campus communities.

Although, the stock market/REITS will provide more "swings" in our return I firmily believe that these great dividends payers will not only provide diversification but also provide steady, consistant dividends once we have reached the end of our growth stage.
